The first thing you need to do is open a free plex account.

• Go to http://plex.tv
• Click on Sign Up to open a free account

INSTALL ON COMPUTER OR PHONE

• Download the software from plex.tv and install on your computer or phone
• Sign into your account with your details and you're done

TO INSTALL ON FIRETV / FIRESTICK (recommended) :

• go onto your firestick and on the top menu go to 'apps'
• search for 'Plex'
• Install Plex and then start the program
• plex will then give you a code - on your phone or computer where you first installed plex - go to https://www.plex.tv/link/ and put the code in there to activate

TO INSTALL ON SMART TV / TV BOX

• Find plex in the smart apps area of your tv - samsung and LG have half decent versions of plex you can install.

INSTALL ON GAME CONSOLE

• This is not recommended, the plex versions for xbox etc are pretty poor.  if you want a good experience with plex we really recommend you buy a firestick - they're very affordable.

SETTINGS

For each version of Plex you are using you need to tweak the settings a little.

• In Video Quality
  Set home Streaming to MAXIMUM
  Set remote streaming to MAXIMUM
  Set play smaller videos at original quality to ON

That will ensure that you get the best experience.

You can have multiple instances of Plex - there's an app for your phone, your computer, tv boxes, firestick and several TV  manufacturers have their own version such as LG or Samsung.  Our recomendation is that you use an amazon firestick device. please note that you will have to change the settings on each version you have.
